well I cant… I wanted too but a little late and all the seats were gone for the JAN session… now I am stuck with this :(

Ivies/MIT/Stanford are going to be tough to get into, but you should be a lock for the others in my opinion (sorry I know nothing about Liberal Arts colleges). Good luck! :D

hey thanks … appreciate it :)

i wrote your chances…then realized i already chanced you.

sorry. hahaha

anywho…you hear from any colleges yet?

well not yet… …most of the universities I have selected will reply in April …

the earliest… March 20th ( MIT )

P.S Uni of Michigan has a rolling admissions policy but I submitted my application quite late so don’t expect a reply any time soon heh :D

It’s really hard to get into such a competitive major as Engineering, especially for the top US schools. As an international applicant with no major international awards you don’t really stand out, but your SAT scores are pretty good nonetheless. Good luck!

hey thanks … and one more thing I dont really think that Williams is a safety? It is one of the top liberal arts colleges of the US… maybe you guys are mistaking it for some other Williams college/university ?

You have good numerical scores. But for many of your Unis, it will be a longshot because all the average applicants have scores typical of these.

Harvard - Reach (Harvard is Harvard, need I say more?)
Princeton - Reach (Same case with Harvard)
Yale - Reach (Look above)
Stanford - Reach (I’ve only seen this recently, but Stanford is freakishly selective)
MIT - Reach (Math SAT Scores might give you the shot, but once more, many others like you have the same scores)

Caltech - Reach (Worse than MIT, I think, but the chance still exists)
UPENN - Low Reach (Better chances here than the HYPs)
Columbia - Don’t know enough.
Cornell - Low Match (There is a better possibility here, competition is less stringent here)
Colgate
Harvey Mudd - Low Reach (See MIT)
Johns Hopkins - Match (I think that you may have a good shot here, a little less competitive than the Ivies, but still not to be trifled with)
Northwestern - Match (See above)
Uni of Miami - Safety (Good Uni, but it is a state uni and will probably be a LOT easier to get into than the above ones)
Uni of San Diego -Safety
Uni of Michigan - High Match (Harder than U Miami, but certainly within your reach)
Vanderbilt - Don’t know
Villanova - Don’t know
Williams College - Don’t know
WPI - Don’t know

Obviously your SATs aren’t the best, but your great GPA at a great school and your extracurriculars should be enough to look past them. I’d say you have a good shot everywhere except the ivies, which are tough for anybody.

Wow, your EC’s just took the wind out of me.
WOW! Really.

wow is in they are completely random or are they really good ?
I like to indulge myself in all kinds of activities that’s why It might seem a little random

No, they’re absolutely fantastic.
You’re getting in some good number of Ivy’s, believe me.

oh ok thanks …

Everything seems really great, but your SAT I score seems to be slightly low.
