Im planning on taking the sat in may and improving on my act
Im also going to take the Math II subject test and I think ill do well in that since math is my best subject

Im looking at majoring in either math or engineering

By the time I graduate, I will have
About a 3.85 wieghted gpa
Taken 6APs and 3 honors courses
Completed calculus 3 at the local university
Captain of the tennis team 3yrs
NHS 2 yrs
2nd place in the regional chess tournament 4 times in a row(hopefully I can win at least once)

what are my chances at the university of Rochester or any other good schools you can think of

to be honest...if your weighted GPA is 3.85, your chances don't look too good, but if that is your unweighted, your chances are excellent.

Your ACT scores all good but I think they can definitely be better. That being said, taking the SAT in May I think is a good idea because some people do better on the SAT than ACT (not many though, its usually the other way around). Whats your unweighted GPA? Other than that I see that you have been challenging yourself academically by taking many AP classes and taking a Calc 3 course in college. If you can raise your test scores then I think you will definitely get into a good engineering school and math school. Good luck.

you have solid points, and its clear you want to take your direction in math, which is good.
try focusing now on your ACT/SAT scores, since its harder to improve a GPA at this point.

another thing that will give you a lot of freedom and security in the college admission process is if you find something really different about yourself, give them something to remember and you're gold!
