Chance me and I will DEFINITELY chance back.

Everything besides the ivys you should get into. Cornell generally has a better acceptance rate then columbia but I think you will get accepted into Cornell. Columbia is a high reach especially if you want to go for biomedical engineering there.

Chemical engineering. The post says chemical engineering, for all of the schools, biomedical for UMiami only. Not a big deal but it makes me wonder if people actually read these closely enough.

-Columbia SEAS - match
-Cornell - reach
-Florida State definitely in
-University of Miami (Biomedical Engineering) - probably in
-University of Southern California - close reach
-University of Texas at Austin - probably in

Thanks for chancing me! I'd say your ECs are your weakest point, but still strong, and demonstrate a desire to make the world a better place

Sorry about that. Well Chemical engineering is also hard in columbia.

chance me back

I think the fact that you are a Mexican will help you very much. YOu have a great GPA but the SAT's are just a bit low (for schools like Cornell and Columbia). I think Cornell and Columbia are reaches, with a better shot at Cornell (I think you can get in there though). I think you're definitely in at Florida State, Miami, USC, and probably Texas too. Looks like your fine though. Nice EC's

Good luck with whatever happens.

Thanks for chancing me about my chances at Notre Dame.. Really appreciate it

I'm confident that your diverse and difficult curriculum, extensive ECs, and minority status will be enough to get you into most if not all of the schools on your list. To make yourself that much better of an applicant, I would retake the math SATII and consider taking the ACT rather than retaking the SAT. In my experience, the ACT was much easier (no vocab.)
Good luck wherever you end up going!

I would like to take the ACT and take more/retake my Subject Tests. However, unless you provide me with a guaranteed-to-work time machine, then it's impossible.

I'd say you have great chances everywhere except Columbia and Cornell. That being said, it really just matters how you presented yourself on your applications. You definitly have a shot at both places. Ivies can just get....finicky.

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/632147-what-do-you-think-my-chances-2.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/632147-what-do-you-think-my-chances-2.html</a></p>

Shameless bump.

Your EC's, ethnicity, GPA, and school, in my opinion outweigh your SAT scores. I think you could get into all of them if you have essays and recommendations.

Please Chance Back
