Thank you for all of the replies!! I really appreciate them. I am a little skeptical of the optimism, just because I know I’m not near academically qualified. I welcome any other opinions :)

Reading through the thread, I realized that everything I was going to say had more or less been said haha.

If you retake the math, I think you’ll have a solid chance at all of the schools. While they may not recognize you accomplishments as an equestrian, surely they’ll notice that it’s something you’ve put a lot of time into. Not everyone can claim that either, so it will stand out more to admissions.

Stanford (REA) - Match
Brown - Mid/High match
Dartmouth - High match
Harvard - Reach
Princeton - Higher Reach
Pomona - In

Dartmouth-low reach
Harvard-high reach
Princeton-mid/high reach (i know someone that got in and your ECs are better)
Pomona- match
UVA-are you instate? if so, definitely in, if not you’re a match
UC Berkeley-match

i’d try to raise your math score a bit if you wanna go to ivies… but like caperi said it won’t kill you

Unfortunately I can’t raise the SAT math because I’ve already taken the test 3 times I’ve been studying pretty hard for the ACT, but for some reason I keep scoring within the same range, if not slightly higher.

jawbreaker - what makes you place Princeton above Harvard in terms of reaches?
ipodnano - I am located in California, so UVA would be a match I suppose.

If you can work out the sat 2 exams and make sure you stand out in the application, you are competitive everywhere. What state are you from? This will have impact on Berkeley and Virginia. Chance me back!

Your SAT is good and if you can improve your SAT IIs, you should be in good shape for the colleges you are looking at. Your ECs are clearly your strong point and make you stand out, so well done there. Of course, since you are a legacy at Stanford you have a great chance to get accepted there.

Stanford-Low Reach/match (legacy)
Brown- Mid reach
Harvard- High reach (it is for everyone)
Princeton-mid Reach
Darmouth-mid reach
Berkley-in
UVA-in
pomona- in

Your SAT scores are great but you may want to take again if you know you can bring math up just because it’s a lot lower than CR and W. Don’t take it again if you’re taking practice tests and only getting another 10 points.

You have a good shot at all of them. I would say Harvard and Princeton are gonna be tough, but you have the credentials to do it. You’re in at uc berkley UVA Pomona and you’ll probably be strong for brown and dartmouth

Your test scores are a little below average for most of these schools, but you have extraordinary ECs which you should be pretty proud of. Make sure to nail your essays and I think you’ll be pretty happy with how you fair in admissions. Thanks for chancing me and good luck!
