Just give me a link.

I don’t get what your asking

What my chances are to get accepted into the schools listed.

To be honest USC is a bit of a gamble. Everything else is a match though. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1372010-chance-urm-aa-his-whole-list.html</a></p>

Looks like they are all around matches. I would try to raise your ACT or SAT, if possible. I dont really understand the GPA on the 100 point scare but I think you’re on the right track. Test scores can make a huge difference. However, since WF doesn’t take test scores (test-optional), I would urge you to interview there. They are big on interviews and I think it could really help. Best of luck!

Where did you read that Wake Forest doesn’t take test scores…

I don’t know those colleges very well, but you seem to have a good resume. I would say you have a good chance of getting in. I mean, some people w/ resume’s similar to your’s end up at Ivies, so I think you’ll have a good chance at less prominently good schools.

However, if you can, I would try and raise your scores up a bit. They seem satisfactory, but a little higher scores could raise your chances.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1365771-hey-i-just-met-you-crazy-but-heres-my-info-so-chance-me-maybe.html</a></p>

I think you’d get in to most of them!

Chance me for Harvard, Notre Dame, Georgetown, Yale, Columbia, Brown, NYU, Rochester, Boston University and Fordham( well I don’t have test results yet but based on this material…):

Weighted GPA: 4.5
Class Rank: (school does not have)
Talent in fine arts and music; self taught three instruments (flute, piano, guitar) and can play like a pro (think Telemann, Flight of the Bumblebee with perfect rhythm, etc.)
approx. 2,000 hours of community service, with personal journal and reccomendations
Extracurricular activities:
Model UN (Secretary; expected President Senior Year), Debate, Black and Hispanic Cultural Society, School Open House Tour Guide, Orchestra (expected president Senior year), Tri-M Music Honor Society, French Honor Society, National Honor Society (expected VP next year), Music Makers (play flute during important school events), Just Angels (Social Justice Club), Habitat for Humanity. (more leadership positions expected by Senior year)
Worked at religious art program and bookstore while trying to balance school and all these other activities to go on Cambridge College Programme
Started “Paint for the Children”, an art summer initiative for children in my local area; taught them 2 hours twice a week in the summer, free of pay
Raised funds to help a Roman Catholic mission and Pies Descalzos, a non-profit started by singer and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Shakira
Extremely involved in church (play as instrumentalist, Neo-Catechumenal Way cantor, former altar server); expected reccomendation from the Archdiocese of Newark for next year…
Other: URM, from inner-city, no tutor (parents can not afford), swimming, on scholarship from a college donor at a school with an extremely hard college prep program, in all honors and high honors(History and English), disregarding freshman year, where I had to cps (French and Bio) because everyone was placed based on an unreliable Standardized Test; expected internships at United Nations and with a Congressman, 14th in nation on a National French Exam.
APs: Biology and US History I; Senior Year course load: French V AP, Art History AP, and US Gov and Politics AP, and maybe English AP

oh yea, I AM taking Calculus, but at the HH level

What do you think?

It is hard to give you a good chance without a test score, but your GPA is great, you have a boatload of EC’s, and a solid hook, so with a good test score you have a chance at all of those schools.

dude. your a tank…besides for your not superior SAT and ACT score, everything else is Flawless perfection

Thanks man haha, if you think im a tank, just wait til you see everyone else here haha

looks pretty good! if you could get your SAT up 100 points, I think that would solidify your chances even further. as someone mentioned earlier, USC can seem kind of random, but other than that, I think you’ve got a pretty good chance at all of those schools.

chance me back?

(m+cr) = 1300

USC, Tulane may be slight reaches, but you will probably get in everywhere else. GPA is great, but I think you really need to get that SAT up to 2000+ for USC or Tulane. Your sports related ECs are highly impressive, but maybe you could have some more non-sports related activities?? Either way, your ECs are good, so I wouldn’t worry too much about that.
Chance me back please! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1372710-chance-me-emory-ed-1-please-recommend-other-schools.html</a></p>

Most of the schools on your list shouldn’t be too hard to get into as long as you write solid essays and have good-great teacher recommendations. Nothing is guaranteed however. Raising your SAT score would probably be the best thing for you right now, as well as adding a few 5s or 4s to your AP Exam scores. If you could check me out for Dartmouth and Brown, that would be great.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1373028-chances-dartmouth-brown.html</a></p>

I would say good chances-in at all (especially thinking GWU), except for USC which is a reach. But most definitely try it, maybe raise test scores a little more for USC. Other than that you’re in good shape.

Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1370966-finding-match-schools.html</a></p>

List updated at around post 43

You have a really great application!
However, consider taking the SAT again in October to raise your scores a bit, they’re lower at the moment and that’s hurting your otherwise great application.
Good luck!

Thanks all for the advice.
