Are you attempting to go to play soccer? That actually might help your application if you are attempting to play athletics at GTown.

You look to be a pretty overall decent candidate, but they get a ton of apps and there are a lot of "good" candidates that dont get into Georgetown. What is your intended area of study?

Your ECs look very good and your stats are not bad either. You probably have a good shot, but you need to discuss how you have attempted to pursue interests that will help your future and how Georgetown will make a positive impact on your future.

If you go about things well you'll probably have a legitimate shot. Good luck.

I would love to play soccer at georgetown, but i do not think i am good enough for DI play-especially georgetown DI play.

As of right now, the political economy major entices me -either that or a double major in gov and eco.

I feel like this is coming down to the essay and interview-like you said- I need to explain how i will add to georgetown and how georgetown will add to me.

I am thinking about applying EA, but Im not sure yet.

I think you are on the right track. You really need to make it clear how certain specific aspects of Georgetown make it the clear choice for you for educational purposes and make sure you really nail it down. Again, good luck!

Your stats appear to be very strong, but you never know at a school competitive as Georgetown-I'd say your chances are better than most though.

As an aside, there isn't a definitive debate ranking system in existence, so I'm not entirely certain as to where you learned that your school is ranked #1.

Your in. Georgetown has a strong coorelation between SATs and grades and acceptance. No one in my school with over a 1450 and a 90 avg has gotten rejected in 5 years.

I wish my school had a strong history with georgetown or a history at all- most if not all of the top kids, the IB kids, apply to the ivies and then our state school, UT, maybe some california schools too but thats it.. I think thats incredibly stupid of course as 3/4 then end up going to UT....not smart. So, i only know of one person to apply to georgtown from our school and he got rejected this year but i think im a better student. at least ill probably not have anyone with which to compete :)
