<p>Major: Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Humanities
Weighted GPA: 3.51 UC GPA: 3.53</p>

<p>Class-rank: N/A (I don't think my school ranks but I do know I am in the top 50% or even higher)
SAT: To be determined
ACT: To be determined
No SAT Subject Tests</p>

<p>Extracurricular activities:
- Avid sport analyst for 3 years - committed over 1000 hours of my time
- +100 of mis. community service
- Gamer for 8 years - won competitions at the community level
- a few other things</p>

<p>I don’t think you have provided us with nearly enough information to make any sort of judgement. Your GPA is very very low, but since you are first-generation you may be able to make up for that with other scores.</p>

<p>If you apply to engineering it is imperative that you demonstrate you will be able to handle the rigors of ucla’s engineering program. This means you better get fantastic AP scores, and your SAT math score basically needs to be perfect in order to make up for that GPA.</p>

<p>Well I received a PSAT score of 215. 720 on reading, 640 on writing (not surprising as English isn’t my first langauge), and 790 in math. Not sure if my PSAT information is going to help or not. But I will update this thread once I take the SAT in March or May (still deciding) and get the results.</p>
