Chance me as a transfer for Fall 2013?

By the end of the current semester, I'll have 40 regular credits, 31 of which will be transferable, in addition to 12 AP credits that I'd like to bring in some time over the next few weeks. This means I'll have about 43 transferable credits by the time the transfer application opens up on December 1st.

Here are my stats, along with general information and a few stipulations:

My overall GPA is 3.93, and I have 4.0s in everything I'm taking this semester. However, I did 2.5 one math class, which I retook and subsequently got an A in, and also withdrew from an honors math course earlier in October, on account of my work schedule.

I work two regular delivery jobs, and was employed elsewhere immediately after graduating high school. I spend about 51 hours per week between the two I'm at now.

I volunteered in the Emergency Department at Sparrow Hospital for three and a half years as a high school student, helping to perform orientations for teens and Michigan State pre-meds.

I served on the governing board of a registered student organization at MSU for two semesters, in a non-student advisory position.

Went to a national-level figure skating competition over the summer (as a participant).

My reservations would be as follow:

The poor grade in the math course I retook;

The math class I withdrew from this semester;

The fact that I was adjudicated guilty of two non-violent, non-drug related felonies as a 14-year old.

I don't think my history should be too much of a problem, but I still get worried every so often. I'm not sure what I'll wind up doing if I don't get into State. =</p>

You should be fine. Good luck :)

Your GPA is absolutely fine for Michigan State and you have some good ECs. There is very little reason to worry. :)

My Stats were VERY similar to yours, similar in gpa and # of credits, and I was accepted pretty quickly for this year.

Also, I don’t believe “W’s” affect you negatively?? I was once told on the phone that they are “non-punitive.” meaning they don’t count against you…
