Would schools like WashU or Northwestern be too much of a stretch? or am i pretty much stuck with like State schools?

So PLEASE, PLEASE. help me out. give me a realistic chancing. I would greatly appreciate all of your help.
Thanks in advance.

I think your best shots would be for some state universities or public schools. Top schools (HYP) would be a big reach, but it’s do able. Make sure to find something you’re really passionate about and sell that as a hook.

The only thing really holding you down is your GPA…test scores are pretty good, EC’s are decent…you’ll have no trouble getting into state schools, but apply to ivies and such and show your passions.

Good luck!

Well, yeah. The GPA has been a real concern for me. and I know that state schools are not much of a problem. But what about others, like Northwestern or WashU. How much would that GPA really weight me down? Is it true that colleges don’t even look at apps below a certain GPA?
