Chance me at Boston College(c/o 2026)

I am currently a junior in high school and planning on taking my SAT’s in March. Expecting the first score to be 1350 and the last score to be 1450.

GPA W- 96 range (4.0-possibly higher)

No class ranking and no one from my school has ever gone to BC

AP’s- AP gov and AP lang (my school doesn’t offer much) but all my other classes are in honors.

Extracurriculars- varsity lacrosse(1 year), freshman class secretary, sophomore class VP, junior class president, feminist club VP(3 years), founded my own poetry society, leadership class(2 years), 130 hrs of teaching english in public housing, and 50 hrs in other community services. Most likely going to be senior class president next year as well.

I am planning on applying to CSOM for finance or accounting early decision.
Please let me know my chances and what else I should work on to be Boston College material!

you may want to try to maximize your SAT/ACT score…where in the country are you located? public hs ? private?

nyc public hs

B/c BC draws so heavily from the Northeast, I would work on improving your SAT or ACT scores. The rest of your credentials look good. BC likes the most rigorous curriculum as possible… so if you have taken that route for your high school’s curriculum, the rigor component should be on par. You have an entire year to get standardized test scores up. Take both ACT and SAT…see which you score better on and concentrate on improving on that test. BC does not prefer one over the other.

My son is in for the Class of 2024 with very similar stats. 1460 SAT. I do think, though, shooting closer to 1500 for the SAT is a very, very good idea.
