Hi, I have a 3.0 gpa and a 1910 sat(660 math, 620 reading, 630 writing). I've played football for 3 years for my highschool(had to quit due to an injury)and I've played soccer for 1 year outside of school. Ive done a little over 70 hours of community service, and ive had an internships at 2 different law offices and an internship at a bank in Peru for around a month. I am a founder of the pre law society in my school. I'm also hispanic, and both my parents went to Boston University.Would applying ED to BU help my chances since I'm a legacy? Thanks

Yeah I think you should be fine if you have a legacy, are applying ED, and are hispanic.

Boston University: reach because of your low gpa

BU: Reach

Do you have a match or a safety?

Yes I have some targets in U delaware, Providence, and scranton as a safety. My other reach is also Babson

I’m from Peru, came to the U.S 7 years ago. I got accepted ED to BU. I have a higher GPA but lower sat score. I think that other than being hispanic, my essay increased my chances of getting I’m significantly. I honestly have 12 versions of my essay on my computer… Sigh think god that is over with. Anyway, there are many factors that contribute to the decision … Did you end up applying ED? Regardless, good luck !!!
