Chance me at Gallatin.

Hello, I'm currently attending my first semester of community college and looking to transfer for fall. Would anyone mind chancing me at Gallatin? I intend to major in something along the lines of Video Entrepreneurship.

Current college GPA: 3.75
High school GPA: 3.84 unweighted, 3.97 weighted
28 ACT

EC:
-Eagle Scout
-Running a company selling technology-related product that I created
-Lots of work experience, ranging from Improv Teacher to Headshot Photographer for a talent agency, to city employed Community Cable Video Technician (camera operator and editor), to Daycare Center counselor to paid internship with nationally airing TV show.
-Wrote a computer program which now has over 22,500 downloads and was labeled as “popular” on C|Net’s Download.com
-Former Director/Producer/Writer of nationally award-winning high school CCTV newscast
-Community service: performed in a children's theatre scene on a tour of local inner city elementary schools to raise literacy awareness, played in various benefit concerts, wrote, produced, and directed educational video sponsored by a NPO to promote youth involvement in the community

Honors:
California Scholarship Federation, National Honor Society, NSPA Journalism Honor Roll, Honored for Outstanding Achievement in Video Production within school

Thanks!

I'd like to add that I will have completed a vocational cetificate in Video/Film at my college by the end of the school year.

I think you have a shot. My GPA was slightly lower, but my ACT was 3 points higher... My EC's were on a similar level. That was for freshmen admission, but I think you still have a good chance. Good luck!

You have a lot of Video Production-related things, so that should help you. I'm not going to chance you because I don't think I'm qualified enough, and I'm also applying to Gallatin, but I think the video-related ECs will pull their weight.

Thanks for your input. Anyone else?

bump? anyone else?
