You should take math at columbi athis year. I took math at columbia. My school wouldn’ tpay but most proffessors will let you take the class anyhow. Even if you don’t get credit, as long as your school will accept it as a pass/fail course it’s worth it (that’s what I did).

Well, I really wanted to go to a NYC prep school, but the financial burden was just way too much for my family, so I settled for my public school, which I now regret. I didn’t get accepted most everywhere besides Collegiate and Fieldston. The only reason I got accepted at Collegiate was because of my father’s connections lol. But man, that would have changed my life if I could have gone. You will probably get into a top ivy, my friend goes to Fieldston, and his safeties are like lower ivies, and really good LAC’s lol.

Many elite private school guidance counselors can already judge whether a candidate will be able to get into HYP. If yours believes you can and will vouch for you, I think you’ll get into one of the three. You certainly are qualified enough. Btw, top 10% of 51 students means your top five in the class right?

@ nuclearpakistan1, collegiate? wow, even with connections, you must be really smart

yeah i’m top 5 … give and take. like i’m 1/2 in math and science. top 10 for english and history. and ~5 for languages. our school doesn’t officially rank so i just guessed my rank.

my guidance counselor said to just apply to all three, hyp. and he said that i have a “high” chance of getting into one or two. but still, no guarantee.
