Chance me at northeastern?

<p>Ok so I'm a rising senior at my high school in Ithaca NY. I'm a white male, although my mom is half Japanese (I probably won't include that on my application anyway)
My unweighted GPA is around 3.6. Not sure about weighted, but I have a difficult course load so weighted will look better
Freshman and sophomore year I took all honors classes, and junior year I took APUSH, AP human geo, and AP environmental science, along with honors precalc and honors English. I got a 4 on all 3 AP exams. Senior year I'm taking AP calculus ab and AP psych, along with a number of electives.
My May SAT score was a 2030, with the 1600 score being a 1440. I plan on retaking it in the fall to improve my writing score, which was a 610.
I have played competitive soccer since I was 6, and played year round throughout high school.
I ski throughout the winter, and have been a part of my school ski club since 6th grade.
This summer I work ~35 hours per week as a dishwasher at a local restaurant (I hate it)
I have refereed youth soccer games since 2009</p>

<p>I'm well aware that my application is lacking in extracurriculars, and I hope to join more clubs this year. Do I have a chance at getting into Northeastern? I will probably apply early decision. Other schools I know I'll be applying to are Cornell (a long shot but I have family connections there and I'm a local), SUNY Geneseo, and UVM.</p>

<p>Gooner10, have you checked your school’s naviance for accepted GPAs and test scores? Cornell has quite an extraordinary admissions boost for locals, so your chances could be better than you think, especially if you apply ED.</p>

<p>@Gooner10‌ You will probably get into all of them except cornell. Cornell is a reach :confused: It’s pretty hard to get into

<p>Yeah, I don’t “deserve” to get into Cornell, but since I have legacy and my dad work there, and IHS (my high school) students have over a 60% acceptance rate at Cornell, I have a shot. That said, I’d prefer Northeastern anyway B-) </p>
