<p>Hello, I'm a rising senior from the Bronx High School of Science in NYC and I'm gonna apply to Northeastern University in Boston as well as NYU in NYC. I just wanted an idea of how much of a reach these two schools will be for me. Any suggestions to help shape up my resume are welcomed :) </p>

There’s not much you can do about your GPA, but you can bring that SAT up. Unless there are other awards that I am missing, your ECs don’t seem to stand out much, and there’s not much you can do about your GPA, but you can bring that SAT up to compensate. If you are waitlisted at any of the schools, doing well your senior year and sending in the transcript to the schools (with a better UW GPA senior year compared to your previous years in spite of increased course rigor) could pull you off the wait list and into acceptance.</p>

and Catria, I know that City College has a good pre-med track but I’m also interested in majoring in corporate finance or something along those lines and I’m too sure if City College can provide best opportunities for me in that field.</p>
