The only thing that would concern me is the lack of substantial EC’s. Most are based around hobbies, and while this can help the personal aspect of your application, universities need to know that you are going to become plugged in to their community. All that being said, everything else looks great. You have passed the 99th percentile threshold with your tests, and your UW GPA is strong. Emphasize that over your weighted, as it is not as strong, although you will be judged in the context to what your high school offers (As someone who was only able to take two APs in their entire high school career, I completely understand). Maybe explore into some other top level public schools. Some are very strong academically, and you (I assume based on income) have the funds to get to an OOS public. You already have UMich… maybe explore some UCal schools, Chapel Hill? Whatever you decide, I am sure you will have no issue adapting to college environments, and I’m sure will succeed. Hope this helps a bit.

I agree that your EC’s focus around your needs.
The ivies and elites like to see some involvement in the community. You don’t seem to have that.
You may have an issue with that. Apply widely and don’t be surprised if some schools don’t accept you. They only have so much room.

UC schools will run $60K per year; I don’t know if the family will be able to handle that.

I do have some volunteering, and I put it on the common app. Will ED status at UChicago perhaps be enough for them to ignore my relative lack of community ECs? My personal statement shines some light on this: I was overweight going into high school, and in the process of losing weight, I became very focused on exercise. I probably should’ve focused more on the community though. Any thoughts on my chances specifically for Williams and Amherst? Those are my top schools after UChicago.

UMich LSA should be a high match for you and your chance should be around double of an average OOS applicant.

UChicago ED: reach, but you still do stand a chance
UMich EA: high match
Northeastern EA: low match/safety
Rutgers RD: safety
Ivies: reach to all except cornell (high match/ low reach)
Williams: reach
Amherst: low reach
Swarthmore: low reach/ high match
Grinnell: low match/ safety
