I know my standardized test scores are mediocre compared to the average applicants to these universities (around the 20-40 percentile), but can my GPA make up for it? My LORs will be pretty nice, as I'm confident that the two teachers I got to write my letters (social studies and biology) wrote really nice letters. I also have some nice hooks with a whole LOT of ECs and community service. So now that you know all this about me, what do you think?

I beg you- please look beyond my standardized test scores when chancing me

Thank you for your time I greatly appreciate it- WILL CHANCE BACK!

bump!!!

bumpppppppppppppppppppppppp

Vandebilt, Duke, Rice, Brown and Columbia do not have undergrad business. An economics major is not the same as a business degree.

Your stats would make all of these schools, except for UF, reaches.

did you see my ECs? or are you only just looking at my test scores…

bumpppppppp

At top schools, most applicants have amazing EC’s. I do not see leadership in your EC’s. Many top schools look for that.

Vanderbilt - mid reach

Virginia

Duke - low reach

Washington U St. Louis - low reach/high match

Rice University - high match

UF (Safety, Florida resident)

Brown University - reach

Columbia University - reach

Emory - match

University of Pennsylvania - low reach

chance back

Thanks for the chance

Bumppppppppppp

Bumppppppppppppp

come on…

Bumpppppppppppppppppp

are you serious?!?!?!

I think you could have a good-medium chance at all your colleges as long as you’re essays are excellent haha. I also got a 2010 (one sitting though) but am hoping for a higher score when I retake. Chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1431373-chance-top-schools.html

Thanks for the chance- bump

I think apart from the Ivy leagues your biggest reach would have to be Duke then everything else gets better from there on out with UVA being almost a match. I don’t think your courseload or test scores will get you into an Ivy though.

chance me back bud!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1431836-chance-me-umich-rd-ill-chance-back-right-away.html

Vanderbilt - mid reach

Virginia - In

Duke - low-reach

Washington U St. Louis - low-mid reach

Rice University - high match

UF (Safety, Florida resident)

Brown University - mid-high

Columbia University - high

Emory - mid- reach

University of Pennsylvania - mid reach

I am looking at all your stats. Your volunteer experience is impressive but Ec’s don’t show any leadership.
your GPA is really good, but like you said SAT might be a bit low.

Chance me back!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1431911-chance-me-colleges-plz.html

Virginia - match

Duke - reach

Washington U St. Louis - low reach

Rice University - low reach

UF - safety

Brown University - reach

Columbia University - reach

Emory - match

University of Pennsylvania - reach

Hmmm… maybe u should look at more targets… and safeties…?

Chance backkk  http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1432039-chance-me-northwestern-cornell-ucs.html
