Chance Me: Boston University, Bentley University, Villanova (Not the greatest stats)

Hey guys just wondering if anybody would be willing to chance me for any of the above schools. Any advice will help out tremendously. I am looking at Boston University(Questrom School of Business), Bentley University, and Villanova University. I know they are not the greatest stats but just want to get an idea of where I am at.

SAT- 1890
-CR:650
-Math: 640
-Writing:600

GPA- 3.55(unweighted)/ 4.21(weighted)

Class Rank- Top twenty percent

APs(out of 5):
-Macro Economics:4
-Micro Economics: 4
-English Language and Comp: 4
-US History: 4
-Taking this year: AP/AB Calc, AP Psychology, AP Literature, AP Gov

Extra Curriculars:
-Three Years of Varsity Tennis, including running tennis intramural to help kids learn fundamentals of tennis
-PFEW winner business simulation camp where 8-10 groups of twenty kids are dealt with the task of building a business from the ground up.
-DECA(business club)member, three time state qualifier, and international qualifier.
-YMCA summer camp volunteer (90+ hours)

  • National Honor Society, National Business Honor Society

Other Info:

  • Asian ethnicity
  • Pennsylvania resident
  • I plan to major in Business Finance/ Accounting

Any advice would be helpful. Just want to get a feel for where I am at in relation to these schools.

Nova School of Business- high match
Bentley- match

Are you retaking the SAT? If you retake it and get a 2000, or even a 1950, it could definitely help your chances.

Bentley - Waitlist/Accept
Villanova - Reject

BU is a match and if you choose the CGS option it is almost safety. Your stats are about the 50th percentile of admitted students.

@TomSrOfBoston Would my chances be substantially lower for Questrom?

I think Villanova is a low reach. They are very score driven and you are on the low end of their range. They also expect higher math scores for the business and engineering schools

If you are going to take anything, retake the SAT.
