I’d like to major in Computer Science
Probably a stretch, but what are my chances?
Your GPA is really strong, and you have a good amount of EC’s. However, your SAT is pretty low, especially considering what you want to major in. I would say that it’s definitely a stretch, even if you’re applying ED II. Honestly, if it wasn’t for your major, you would have a better chance of getting in, but when students apply to competitive majors, whether that be computer science, nursing, or engineering, the admission officers tend to look at the numbers more closely even if it’s a holistic review. I wish you the best of luck
That’s great to know! It was meant to be a reach school, so if I don’t get in, I won’t be upset, but it would be amazing to be accepted.
Did you choose the CGS option? That would improve your chances.
@tomsrofboston I just chose a major in Computer Science.
