I also recommend taking a look at Rice University, about the same level of difficulty of Cornell, maybe a bit easier, but excellent engineering program and beautiful campus (in Houston Texas)

Thank you cortana431 for your help and recommendation on Rice. I will definitely look it up.

Cortana431 - do you have any recommendations for me to improve my chances at Duke, Washu, JhU or Cornell ? Thanks

I would recommend to keep up what your doing! I’d say that if you could gain more leadership positions in your various clubs, then that would further strengthen your resume. I also agree with Cortana’s chances, they are fair

Thank you both for your advice. Greatly appreciated.

Great stats! Just be careful with Lehigh. Unless you show interest, I’ve seen students with stats like yours get waitlisted. They seem not to want to admit students who are likely to go elsewhere. In the last cycle, my friend’s DD got waitlisted at Lehigh, but accepted EA to MIT.

At this point: No. Only thing you can do is work hard on your essays and supplements and make sure your teacher recommendations are from your best teachers who know you and will be sent out on time.

Of course, if you apply early decision anywhere, your chances improve also.

Please chance me for hte following schools added to my list for Biomed Engg:

Columbia University
Georgia Tech
