For HumEc, you seem like a decently competitive applicant. I would say you definitely have a chance.

  • Your test score is acceptable (can't say anything about AP scores, as you didn't include them). Cornell will not rule you out just based on that.
  • Your EC's actually look pretty good; your clubs show a strong showing in both quantitative analysis and presentation skills. Your community service shows a strong dedication for the people around you, especially in the realm of health. Admissions would most likely look upon those experiences very positively.
  • You class rank is good, and if your essays/recs are as good as you say, then your application sounds top-quality. You could probably stand toe-to-toe with the best of the other applicants.

Just remember that the Ivies are a crap shoot for everyone. You never know what the outcome might be. Sometimes it just comes down to sheer luck. So good luck! :-bd
