I am a student from Taiwan.

I have a GPA of around 3.5 and SAT 2000 - reading 580, math 700, and writing 720.

I have community service hours of about 40+ in total.

I have taken several APs:
Bio - 4
Macroecon - 5
Microecon - 4
Calc - 3
Chinese - 5

and i am taking AP Stats, AP World History, and AP Literature now.

What is my chance of getting into UBC?

Judging from what I’ve seen from other UBC students high school stats, I’d say you need to raise the GPA slightly and that should land you in the upper applicant bracket, most int’l applicants have taken APs as well, do you have any ECs, I know UBC may be a little academic based but getting involved some more wouldn’t hurt. I say you have a great chance! Your SAT is solid and the 40+ hours is very common from others. Just stay competitive with the GPA and APs!

Raise your gpa! to at least a 3.75!

AP Scores, decent, cal could have improved. Decent scores 2000! You need more ECs 40 hours of what? All they see is a very smart student, not one who seems involved in different ways.
