Asian Male
UW GPA: 4.0 W GPA: 4.7

ACT: 36 (35 english,36,36,35 science) with only 25 writing lol
SAT IIs: 800 in Math 2, and Chemistry
Taken a total of 17 AP classes, got a 5 in all of them except fro AP World and APUSH (hate history :frowning: )

ECs+awards:
-Internship at a biochemistry lab (like a legit lab with a professor) junior year
-Youth MED program during summer at UofT
-Science Olympiad for 6 years! many awards
-Math Team 6 years! some honors, im not as good as some people, I barely made AIME, etc
-National Merit Finalist
-Biology, Chemistry, Physics Clubs (participated in each of their olympiads-USABO, USNCO, F=ma, for at least 2 years, made semifinalist for Bio and Chem)
-205 hours of volunteering, at hospital and as summer camp counseler
-Piano for 8 years! I’m alright, don’t practice that much though :frowning:

I only need a chance for one school. My dream for over 10 years: UC Merced.

You should very easily get into UC Merced, and you can easily get into UC Berkeley, too (though the deadline has passed).

You are likely the most outstanding student I’ve ever heard of with Merced as their first choice. I am begging you to raise your ambition. You’ve got the stats for every single school in the nation (Ivies included).
