<p>So Im in a different situation than most of the freshmen. I was born in the U.S. but was actually raised in Taiwan until 11th grade. I applied as a freshman this year. And about a month ago they emailed me and asked for my unofficial Taiwanese transcript(9th and 10th grade) and as well as my unofficial transcript from the high school Im attending now(which is in the U.S.), and they told me that they had calculated a higher GPA than I provided. I dont have a high ACT score(I got a 21), but English is my second language and I have strait As in high school these two years. I also consider myself having great essays and personal statements, I really want to know if I have a chance to get in UW because it is like my top choice school. If anyone have time, and think my personal statement and essays will be the most important part to decide if I get in or not. Can anyone help me read them and try to chance me, please?</p>
