Congrats and thanks for the follow up! Always great to hear a happy ending. Hope he chooses UCLA. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about being at UCLA and why its an amazing place to spend the next 4 years.
Thank you @CU123, and congrats to your D for getting in the #1 bme grad school.
Yes, @10s4life, thanks for your help and offer. UCLA is currently his top choice. His main concern is about being able to register for classes after seeing a number of posts about how difficult it is to register for classes across UC campuses.
Its a big myth. Almost everyone gets all their classes. L&S majors are very low unit wise so as long as you are flexible on times and professors you are good to go. Especially now. Also 60% of the upper division classes are 25 students or less. The days of the 90’s and early 2000s are all gone.
Did you see this, UCLA enrollment pass times?
No I haven’t seen that link yet thanks @lkg4answers.
Great thanks @10s4life. Is it difficult to schedule a few CS/Stats/Bioinformatics classes during one’s 1st/2nd year? My son is thinking of possibly doing a minor in CS (or take a few CS classes)
Not difficult but likely he needs to complete some pre reqs first.
