high school is only three year from 10-12 grade

I think that UChicago, without good essays, is out of the question. Sure your stats are good, but your ECs are only decent and don’t strike me as particularly quirky.

On the other hand, Duke and Northwestern you will have a great shot at! Though I wouldn’t call them matches (they aren’t for anyone, really), I’d say they’re definitely high match/low reaches.

Lastly, Cornell and UPenn are Ivies. There really isn’t much more to say! I would put Cornell in the above category had you applied ED, but because you didn’t, it’s definitely a low-mid reach, along with UPenn.

Frankly, I don’t know much about NE, but given its acceptance rate and average scores, it’s a low match.

Good luck!

Thanks mlolo but I forgot one thing Cornell really likes my school for some reason and accepts 30 plus people per year

bump

anyone else

@boom234 apply ED :)!

All the schools you are looking at are extremely difficult for anyone, no matter the grades, test scores, or ECs. That being said, I think Northeastern is a match, Northwestern and Duke you have a good shot, and UPenn, Cornell, and UChicago are all stretches because they all require flawless essays, extremely strong EC’s, and even higher test scores.
