Hello, I’m currently a junior at an in-state school. Please change if you have the time!! I’m planning on applying to LSA with a major in Computer Science. Please chance this without regard to essays (which I know are vital, but I am generally pretty passionate when it comes to writing)

President and founder of our school’s programming club
2 Year president and founder of our school’s news website
Member of key club (going for officer role)
Member of NHS

Taking classes
Attended a prestigious summer internship at a local university for computer science (got accepted into a different computer science internship this summer since I can’t take that one again)
Taught coding to middle school students and helped set up a computer club
Coded a program that helped our counselors quickly organize classes and set up a schedule.
I made a security system for local businesses to defend against online attackers
Wrote for our local newspaper over the past year
Varsity Tennis
Host at a local restaurant
Taught private investing courses for young adults and teenagers
Extra: My lowest grades were all in my sophomore year. I had a C in Algebra 2 my second semester, but that semester was difficult since I had fallen into a few illnesses over the first weeks of the year and during the latter half I was taking care of my grandmother who had failing health. I had a few Bs in my freshmen year but I completely Aced junior year.
I think my high points are my SAT, APs, service hours and especially my ECs. My lowest point is probably my GPA but from people I have talked to, LSA is generally fine with 3.85+ Planning on getting rec letters written by my two favorite teachers that know me very intimately.
