Years ago, you would have had an excellent shot, but as Wellesley has gotten more competitive, your chances are now perhaps only “good”

Your test scores and GPA put you in contention. Your awards are what would be expected with your GPA. The fact that you are first generation will probably help a lot.

Your EC working in retail will also help you more than you may think. Wellesley wants kids with diverse backgrounds.

I would think you’re the type of candidate where rec letters and interview will really let you shine. You have shown you work hard and do well.

Have other kids from your HS gotten into Wellesley in the past?

Best of luck

You have a great GPA, a strong number of APs, and great test scores! It really all comes down how they feel about your essays and extracurriculars at this point, but you sound perfectly qualified. I wouldn’t be surprised if you got in!

^^ Other responses are on point! You’ve got the baseline stats/scores down, show admissions what you can bring to the Wellesley community in terms of passion and personality – highly encourage you to interview, my experience with my interviewer was a HUGE factor in my decision.
