I think you have a really good chance! Wellesley demographically admits more asians than other universities at it’s level, so I think that is a plus. Also, being a first gen makes you stand out from other applicants. You’re grades seem above the threshold that they are looking for, but they do look at more than that. Are you planning on running in college? If so, speaking with the coach can definitely help you’re chances of being admitted because you are supporting the school athletically, not just academically. However, I’m pretty sure the Wellesley coaches cannot “support” your application through admissions. I think that their admissions decision will definitely be based on your essays though. Wellesley is not your typical college/university, and they look for out-of-the-box leading women who will make a great impact on society in the future. So, if you show you REALLY want to go to the school, and they see that you’d be a good fit, then I don’t see why they wouldn’t admit you. Hope that helps!
