Extenuating circumstances: I have had medical issues all throughout high school. One required me getting treatment that basically debilitated me for one day out of every week (it was all i could do to get an hour of homework in after school that day), which went on for two years. It was literally chemotherapy medicine just in smaller quantities/frequencies to give an idea. The other was a torn rotator cuff/surgery, plus 2-3 hours of PT every week for a year and a half.

ED where?

Where are you applying to?

I would say 70%. Your stats are great, and so I would just focus on the essays. I would make sure to right about the finance internship and connect it with majoring in econ. Overall, you are pretty much a perfect candidate for any school

@reprogrammed @awesomepolyglot my bad I’m considering Vandy Duke and Dartmouth

Nice to see a fellow soccer ref on CC! People don’t understand how lucrative that can be monetarily. I’d say you would be competitive for admission into any of the 3 schools you listed, but since they use a holistic process, there’s no way to guarantee you acceptance. GL!

thank you for the input! @DJCURRYBEATS19

Your GC should reference your medical issues (esp the chemo). It sounds like the LoRs are already written- did either of those teachers teach you during your illness? A line as to how impressive you were despite the treatment will mean much more coming from a teacher than from you.
