Applying in Nov. to UCSD, UCSB, UCI, UCR, CSUFul, CSULB, CPP, and SLO

Other demographics:
-1st language was Spanish
-1st generation college

Most UC engineering programs don’t require IGETC, so that’s probably not going to help you a whole lot for those schools. You’ll get into any Cal state, probably UCR, maybe UCI, maybe UCSB, and UCSD is kind of a long shot.

You’re a reach for SLO and CPP

thank you guys for the input… I hear that UCSD has a high acceptance rate for Cali transfers when it comes to engr. Any one knows if thats true?

It’s relatively true (as is any major at a UC coming from a CCC), BUT you do have a low GPA and you still have all the hardest classes to take. Unfortunately you only have one more term’s worth of grades that will really be included on your app so I would really apply to more CSUs and hope for the best.
