NYU
Carnegie Mellon
U. of Chicago
WU at St. Louis
SUNY Binghamton
SUNY Stonybrook
Saint John's Pharmacy (pharmacy as a backup plan..)
Boston College
U. Penn
Columbia
Cornell
HYPM

Please tell me which schools would be safetey/match/reach for me.

Thank you.

P.S. I just became a U.S. citizen this summer.

My number 1 choice school is U. Penn…

Should I go for early decision?

bumpppvbbbbbbbb

NYU- In
Carnegie Mellon- Match/Low Reach
U. of Chicago- All depends on your essay to be honest
WU at St. Louis- No idea
SUNY Binghamton- In
SUNY Stonybrook- Big time scholarship
Saint John’s Pharmacy (pharmacy as a backup plan…)- No idea
Boston College- In
U. Penn- Match/Low Reach, because it’s that way for most people. But you have as good a shot as anyone
Columbia- It’s a reach for everyone, you should do well though.
Cornell- In
HYPM- Same thing, it’s a reach for everyone, but you look good.

volunteer work totals to about 16 hours per week. considering your hectic schedule/ECs i highly doubt that, unlessit’s 800 hours over 4 years? but that’s still a lot

I did tennis coaching 3 hours every Saturday and did Hospital 3 hours every Sunday.

Well… not EVERY one, but you know what I mean…

bump… arg school starts tmr…

Clearly, your in at all the Public schools… NYU is high reach. Which one is your safety? Stony Brook U is in Long Island, so that should be your Match/Safety.

Fantastic grades, scores, etc. I have to STRONGLY disagree with the above poster…NYU is EASILY a safety for you, along with most of the other schools on your list. If you apply to UPenn ED I think you’ll have a pretty good shot. HYP are reaches as they are for everyone. Yo have a strong shot at Cornell, but Columbia would be more of a reach. As long as you have strong essays and a balanced application, you’re good! Stats are only half the battle…
Good luck!!

No way NYU is a high reach in my view. You have a good shot at all those schools. if you did ED at U Penn I’d bet that you’d get in.
