Honestly, if you nail a 2000+ or 30+, you’d likely get into all of those schools and more. HYPSM are possibilities, if you’re interested. Your African American hook, stellar grades, and good ECs already put you in a good position. Study hard for your standardized tests.

Your rank is excellent and will probably get you accepeted in most of those schools. But if you get at least a 2000 on the sat you should be good for jhu and uchic

I think your chances at all these schools are pretty good. You have solid extracurriculars, and ur leadership and community service is excellent. Only thing now is u gotta get 2000+ on your SAT and you will be in a good position.

Also, some people have said that ur extra curriculars arent creative. You dont have to save the world or invent something. The place to show your creativity is in your essay. The essay is very important and arguably the most important think.

all of my recs will be excellent and my essays will be stellar. I will try my best to get a good SAT score and if i can nail a good score I will take two SAT 2’s.

I think you have an excellent shot at all those schools. Amazing Academics, Solid SATs (a little more solid won’t hurt)… what more could a college want?
U of Chicago depends heavily on your essay so that depends on how good of an essay writer you are.
I’ve heard that it’s a little harder to get in as a younger student. You have to prove that you’re mature enough and you may have to write an extra essay. I’m not an expert though and I could be wrong!

Well I have good news and bad news. If you were Asian, those schools might’ve been reaches for you, but because you are black, your chances are signlficantly greater.
Valedictorian is great. Your ECs sound interesting. Your SAT score should be better than 1800. If you can get that above 2000, you have a great chance at the schools listed.
I am not being racist or anything, it’s just simply that colleges want to “diversity.”

Thanks for all the chances you guys. Unfortunately, I think the highest I can get on the SAT is probably a 1900. I do have a thread up about how I’m trying to improve my SAT score(especially my math score because it is my weakness right now). So check it out!
