Hey there, you asked me to chance you for Exeter. The only thing that I can tell you is that you look like you could be a candidate, but it’s pretty much impossible for me to say. I haven’t read your essays, and everyone thinks that their essays are “good” or that their recs are “good.” But even if I could read them and could see that they were “good”, it would still be impossible for me to chance you. These threads are a little pointless since there are lots of qualified applicants but in the end I think the decision sometimes comes down to a lottery. Many people apply (though fewer now because of the economy), and they can only accept so many. But yes, I’d say you look like you’d be a candidate. Anyone who seems to be smart/passionate (clearly you love to learn since you are even posting on these threads), is a good candidate. What I’d suggest is that you REALLY make sure your essays are the best they can be. They can make all the difference in the world in making you STAND OUT. Anyone can get good test scores, but an essay makes you, you. Good luck to you! And if you are accepted, I hope you attend. I was incredibly happy at Exeter and am so grateful that I had the opportunity to go there.

@lax305 - thanks you and I hope you get accepted at your schools too!

@loudandclear - thank you so much and I do hope I get accepted!

Andover: hard to get into, cant really say but you seem qualified
Exeter: same as above
SPS: probably
Peddie: definitely
