Most UC web sites refer to the weighted-capped HS GPA. Perhaps people can be more helpful if you post all three of your HS GPAs as recalculated for UC purposes (unweighted, weighted-capped, fully weighted).

College of Chemistry is probably more selective than the campus overall for frosh admission.
