Normally I’d never even look on chance forums, but hey, why not. @Futuredoctor For UConn, you need to raise your SAT score. The average accepted SAT for UConn is in the 1650s-1850s. Most of the kids accepted from my school (in state) were in the top 20% of the class and had 3.75 gpas. I know that state schools like OOS applicants, but you’d need to raise your SAT score, which you’ve already marked, and there’s nothing you can do about your class rank, even though it might (and I’m not saying this lightly, but I’m not trying to be mean either) hurt you. UConn is one of those schools that really looks at stats as a big indicator. That’s all I really have to offer. Good luck!

I think UNC, UConn, and Michigan are a little out of the picture now, unless you can get your SAT up (which you probably can). Study before you take it next- a 1900 would be the minimum for UNC and Michigan, but I think your shots are decent at the other ones. Good luck!

Thanks guys! I know that SAT score is low, and I’ve been taking prep courses to help get me a better score. I also had the feeling that my class rank would hurt me a little, but it is what it is.

Take Michigan and UNC out of the picture. Don’t waste your money (No offense).
If you apply to those other schools, you’ll have at least a few choices.
