I think my common app essay is unique- I wrote about teaching my grandma the alphabet when I was a child because my friends made fun of her, her Alzheimer’s, and how the experiences impacted my views on my identity and the world.
I am hoping for some juicy letters of rec.
Would being from Alaska or going into an unpopular major (that I am genuinely passionate in) help me at all?
