Chance me for Brown? (ED deferral)

So I got deferred from Brown ED; I'm wondering what you guys think my chances are regular decision.
Academics:
3.79 GPA in all honors/AP courses possible (unweighted)
Currently taking Multi Variabel calc. at a college, and doign an independent study in Linear Algebra at my school.
2330 SAT
800's in SAT II Math level 2, Chemistry, 760 in US History
My first quarter senior year was relatively poor (I got B's in AP Bio and Gov, I currently have A-'s in them second quarter and can sustain that). I'm definitely doing well this quarter (All A's/A-'s, maybe a B+)
My school doesn't do class rank or anyhing like that
E.C.'s:
Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse my jr and sr years
Active member of student government (elected by my peers, I also report to the town school committee)
Quiz team (one of the actual competitors, not an alternate)
Selected to go on an exchange trip to China for 4 months my sophomore year
Finalist in a New England regional Chinese Speech Contest
Volunteer at a community health center, reading/teaching english to asian children (it's in chinatown)
Worked at a cancer research lab as a research assistant over the summer before my sr. year.
Worked as a camp counselor at a baseball camp I went to when I was a lil' one.

I'm pretty sure I was deferred because of my first quarter grades, I can definitely step them up to close out first semester. I'm applying to some of the top schools in the country, do you think I stand a good chance of getting into at least one? Thanks

since you were deferred its difficult to say. you seem like a fairly strong applicant. your SATs are great, grades are good, but your ECs are only really OK I’d say. i could see you getting into the likes of berkeley. but who knows, you have a decent shot at other top schools. its all luck anyway.

You are lacking actual leadership roles in both your ECs and your community service work. That, combined with a relatively low GPA, makes you less competitive than many others who applied. There is nothing wrong with your application, but you don’t have anything noteworthy that stands out from the crowd, the competition is brutal, and the number of spaces are too limited.

You should make sure to also apply to a range to schools with acceptance rates up to around 35% to ensure you get accepted to a place you really love – the competition for spots at any school with under 15% acceptance rates is more brutal than you seem to think – remember there are 1.5 million high school graduates every year and you’re fighting against the top one percent in the entire country.

Swagmaster, I think your GPA is too low for high school.
