Chance Me for Brown?

<p>I find out on the 27th; I'm really nervous! </p>

<p>Background: Virginia resident, white, female, one parent in military </p>

<p>GPA: ~4.5 weighted, 4.0 unweighted, 12th in class (really competitive class, and I'm a member of a STEM Academy that limits number of potential APs; on track to finish 7th in the class with a 4.75)</p>

Senior Year APs: AP Bio (earning an A) AP Lit (earning an A) AP Gov (earning an A)</p>

<p>Intended major: English</p>

<p>SAT: 2250, 790 Reading 660 Math (Low, I know) 800 Writing, 10 Essay
Subject tests: 780 US History, 690 Literature (annoyingly low)</p>

<p>Essays: I think they were strong; fairly risky; addressed topic of atheism with an emphasis on free-thinking, individualism, and open-mindedness; other essays were okay</p>

<p>Interview: I really enjoyed it; very relaxed; it made me even more excited about Brown</p>

<p>I haven't heard back from anywhere yet. Can't think of anything else to add. My resume is good, but not stunning, and I'm feeling increasingly nervous. Brown seems like the perfect school :(!</p>
