I love doing community service:
I went on a week long service trip to Costa Rica last summer (Will this help?)
I volunteer at food pantries etc
Might work at Cradles to Crayons for work study program at school.

I am applying for full financial aid and looking to board at all schools.

You have a good chance at these schools, however your need for financial aid might decrease your chances. You have sports so if you look into contacting coaches at these schools, they might recruit you. Good luck!

If you are accepted into one of these schools but are not awarded full FA, will you still go?

I am puzzled about the Costa Rica trip. Why would a family that can afford trips to Costa Rica need full FA?

I got full financial aid for the trip as well and I probably wont go to the school if I only get partial. I know that St. Paul’s and Groton have a policy that they have a full scholarship to those accepted with an income less than 75000

You seem that you have a very chance!i think the community service will bump you up big time! Can you check out my post about my chances for concord academy and exeter?? Thank you!

None of these schools are need blind (in my experience) which may be a problem. BUT SPS offers wonderful scholarships to certain states. The Heinz Pennsylvania scholarship, Ross New Jersey scholarship, and another in South Carolina. I don’t remember all the states, but if you live in a certain area, it’s possible that you qualify for scholarships.

May I ask what grade are you applying for?

Actually, Groton and Concord are need blind for US applicants.

Hello Photodad. My apologizes. I double checked the websites. It’s kind of confusing as they do not say directly say needblind. Take a look at the Groton website: [Groton School ~ Financial Aid](http://www.groton.org/admission/financial_aid) They are now waitlisting FA so I don’t consider that need blind. I have yet to double check Concord
