Chance me for BS?

woah really? that’s so cool! message me or something haha… if you don’t mind.

yayyy I got my report card back! all As

Your stats look amazing. As a rule of thumb (learned this from someone who worked in admissions): a 70th percentile score should get you in somewhere, but not everywhere. This should be thought about realistically though. If you have a 70th percentile, you shouldn’t be applying to all CHADES (I always include Choate) schools. In your case, that isn’t a issue. You should have a number of HADES schools (3-4), a few second tier like Kent, Taft, or Loomis (2-3), and a few safeties (1 or 2). Safeties could be a nearby day school or a 50th percentile school. You should basically have a guarantee on getting in to your safety.

@prepschoolhopes
do you think NMH would be a good safety for me?

 1. the acceptance rates are higher
 2. even though it’s a safety, I really like the school

I also have Milton…? the nmh ao said Milton was a 2nd tier school

It might be considered “Second Tier”, but I wouldn’t characterize NMH as a safety.

It is a very good school, on par with Loomis and Taft.

okay, but I think it’s a little too late in the admissions process to apply to a safety, am I right?

recs: my English teacher hates me…
math is probably okay
