Gpa : 3.8 uw 4.0 w. Weighed expected to go up a lot through the first semester of senior year and also my gpa is on an upward trend.

4 APs 13 Honors

Sat : 1290 680r 610m 18 essay. Retook it recently and planning to retake again

ECs: Part of a USFWS data collection, other than that just listed hobbies (i pretty much did nothing throughout high school)

Counselor and teacher recs should be good, essay turned out to be really good.

Also, my family wants to me to apply to John Hopkins, Dartmouth, and Brandeis. I keep telling them I have no chance but they dont believe me. Should I even bother applying?

Bentley is a decent match.

Babson and BU want to see higher test scores, 1400+, and Babson wants you to have a lot of business background and a mind for entrepreneurship.

You might want to check out Bryant too, more realistic. Good luck.

Not that I have extensive business background, but my essay showed a very unique entrepneurial venture that im currently doing, hopefully thatll help.

If i were to score well on my next sat, would BU be more of a match?

I think they’re all solid matches since you raised that SAT to a 1400.

Bentley seems to me like a low match since you raised the sat to the 1400s, same with Babson being a match, BU probably a match as well. Apply to Brandeis, it is just as hard, if not easier than Basbon and BU
