Your SAT CR isn’t too great, but that doesn’t mean that you’re out of the running

Colgate - match
Tulane - reach
GW - reach
American University - high match/low reach
Emory - reach
Tufts - low reach
Northwestern - reach
Drexel - low match
Oberlin - safety
Syracuse - low match
Wake Forest - high match
U of Chicago - reach
Cornell - reach

Yes, Oberlin is definitely a low reach. I have seen individuals who have had slighter lower stats (gpa and SAT) who made it into Oberlin without any problem whatsoever. With Tufts, it depends on several factors. With what you’ve presented so far, it’s a low reach. Do you by chances have any leadership positions in your clubs?

Whoops meant Oberlin as safety and Tufts as low reach (my apologies for the confusion).
With tufts, it may be difficult to get in ED or otherwise, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have a shot

ik but i dont want to waist my ED on Tufts when i dont really have a great shot of getting in? Do you think i would have a better chance of getting into Emory ED or Tufts ED? Thank you so much for the help indoman

Why would Colgate (even with legacy) be a match and Tulane a reach? They are basically the same in terms of difficulty, with Colgate being slightly more difficult. Also, Oberlin is not a safety. It is actually harder than Tulane to get into. American University is a match for you.

A lot of this research can be done on your own by simply typing “______ admissions statistics” on google, especially since it is obvious that most people chancing don’t know what they’re talking about/are basing it on one or two people they know.

I thought what that Anchser. I know American is significantly easier to get into then places like Tufts. And i thought Oberlin was around where colgate is. I still really need this question answered…

WOULD I HAVE A BETTER SHOT OF GETTING INTO TUFTS ED OR EMORY ED?
