<p>I want to transfer to College of Charleston for Fall 2014. I want to major in Women's and Gender Studies with a minor in African Studies. Possibly a second major in French or minor in Spanish. Here are my stats:

Currently attending a community college in South Carolina, so I'm in-state

<p>You should be fine. 
Also, look into the nontraditional applicant programs at women’s colleges. Those may help you get into these schools with good financial aid and community supprt for your child/children.</p>
<p>Thanks! I was really attracted to their study abroad programs, especially since CofC offers opportunities to study abroad in Havana,Cuba and at the University of Cape Coast!</p>
