AP Classes:
-junior year: AP US History (only AP class offered to juniors)
-senior year: AP English, AP Spanish language (only AP classes offered to seniors)

I also have 100+ hours of community service.

So, what chance do you think I have of getting in?

I also take all honors classes possible at my school and have since freshman year.

Your academics will be fine if you get that ACT up and do well on your subject tests (I may be mistaken but I believe Columbia requires subject tests). Your extracurriculars don’t really stand out that much, though.

Get your ACT up, get good SAT II’s, and you definitely have a shot at Columbia. :)

Good luck (:

Well I think you have a high GPA and great ECs, just do well on your ACT and you will be a good canidate

Columbia does require subject tests and I am scheduled to take them :)

I also forgot to mention that I am team captain of the varsity quiz bowl team

You are in the range, but nothing really stands out. You took the most of your opportunities, but never really tried to get ahead. Write great essays and hope for the best, but it will be a huge crapshoot for you. Good Luck!
