<p>I'm a junior at a very small private school with very limited course options. I have a 4.0 GPA, and an ACT score in the lower 30's (waiting for my latest score right now). </p>

-vocalist in the musician's club</p>

-Junior year: AP US History (the only AP course offered for juniors)
-Senior Year: AP English, AP Spanish Language (only AP courses offered for seniors)</p>

<p>Honestly, the selection process is really arbitrary. A lot of kids who are leaders in 10 clubs with perfect SAT scores and such are rejected (and some are also accepted). If you really wanted to get in I would advise you to stay away from doing stuff just to add another line to your resume because the admin officers can tell and you will look superficial. Also, I would advise you write a unique essay because I believe that’s the best way for you to stand out in the sea of “perfect” applicants so the college knows you as a person instead of statistics</p>
