Other Important Information:

-My portfolio is a work-in-progress, but is quite good so far, and adheres to the advice given to me by admissions at AAP.
-My supplement essay is pretty darn passionate as well.
-I am going to receive 2 very good teacher letters of rec (I know the teachers pretty well), plus a great counsellor letter (she and I get along well), a letter from my drawing teacher at Pratt (he just offered me one, so it should be good), and to top it off, a letter from my architecture teacher at Pratt, WHO is a Cornell alumnus.

Please be honest but not excessively harsh. Thank you!

It looks pretty good! I’m going to apply to AAP at Cornell as well. It’s funny, a lot of your stats and such are similar to mine and I even did some hours with Habitat! Your unweighted GPA is a little bit low but other than that it looks pretty good. Could I see your portfolio?

Once again, stats are good, but the portfolio has such a large weight that it would be premature to make any sort of judgment without it.

wow, I thought i would never find someone else who is applying for arch.
I am also applying for arch at cornell!

I think you have a really good shot, my grades are so similar to yours too haha.

and for the Pratt Precollege program, which teacher did you have? Mr.Titus or Mr.White?
haha I took that course during the summer as well!

By the way, I am applying ED.

000ooo000ooo: My interviewer seemed to love my portfolio. She even like some of the less amazing pieces I brought. I will post pics when I get the chance (sorry). It made for an unbelievably good, 2-hour long interview, though.

aquawarrior: I have not heard of either of those teachers. I had a teacher with an unpronounceable Polish last name. Did I meet you there? What’s your first name? Mine’s Ian.

Thank you all for chancing me.
