Chance me for Cornell, UCSB, UPenn, BU, Columbia, Georgetown, CUNY Macaulay

I applied ED to Cornell

I’m applying RD to UCSB, UPenn, BU, Columbia, Georgetown, CUNY Macaulay

I’m a white male with my intended major as biological sciences/biology

SAT: 2140 (670 reading; 750 math; 720 writing); Best single SAT is 10 points lower on reading
Subject tests: Bio (680); Math 1 (730); World (700)–not really proud of any of them…
Rank: Last I heard was 4 out of approx 250

Courseload:
Prior to 9th grade: Algebra 1; Biology; Italian 1 (all advanced)
9th (no APs allowed…): Chemistry, Geometry, English, S.S., Italian 2 (all advanced), Art
10th: AP World; Advanced- Algebra 2, English, Italian 3, Physics then random electives
11th: APs- Bio, US, Lang; Advanced- Pre calc, Italian 4 then random electives
12th: APs- APES, US Gov, Calc AB, Lit, Psych; Advanced- Stats

Overall, I’ve taken every AP offered by my school

ECs: President of a student welfare club; VP of Key Club; coordinate tutoring through the school; VP of the art club; one of the officers for our math team (there’s no title); I volunteer to teach kids with mental and emotional disabilities to play specific sports; all among other things…

Essay: 8.5 to 9/10
Cornell supplement: 10/10
Teacher recs: 9.5/10
Counselor rec: 10/10

Am I missing anything?
Thanks everyone!

@jesterjames Looks pretty good!

Macaulay – high match
UPenn/Columbia – match (they’re matches for everyone)
BU – match

Did you apply to CALS?

might add Holy Cross and Tufts both very strong in science majors.

@IndoorCloud25
Yes I did

AP Scores thusfar:
World: 4
Bio: 3 (I honestly have no idea how this happened… I felt so confident even after taking the test)
US: 5
Lang: 4

Cornell ED you have a shot. SAT a bit low though but if your Cornell supplement is truly a 10/10 then you have a shot.

Penn and Columbia are certainly reaches, NOT matches with a 2140 and a 680 SAT II Bio (and 3 on AP) if ur applying as bio major. And keep in mind you are applying to these two Regular Decision, not Early.

No idea why someone earlier said “they’re matches for everyone”. That’s extremely fallacious. Even a 2400 4.0/4.0 applicant is not guaranteed admission to those two schools regular decision.
Your school transcript seems good but nothing in your EC’s truly stand out. You should try to highlight something in your EC’s that you have an interest in, or is related to what u want to do in college. (i’m trying to avoid the word passion lol)

Again, keep in mind no one can truly tell you what ur actual chances are (we can’t see your essays, teacher recs, interview, etc).
