Chance me for Cornell?

How do colleges calculate your hs gpa? do they go by what the hs submits or do they recalculate it? if so, how do they do it? I estimate mine to be about 3.75 (I improved a lot from FR to JR year, having 90.5 avrg Fr, and 97 avrg JR yr, and I'm in FULL IB
SAT-2300
Great Ec's
Applying ED to Cornell to a pretty unpopular major-biometry, please chance me!
How can I improve my chances?

bump

please someone reply

It’s a tough call, especially when you don’t tell us what the EC’s are. If they are truly “great”, then I would say low reach.

On paper you are qualified, but the information is too limited to say anything for sure.

Every college looks at GPAs in a different way. Since some high schools have unweighted GPAs, weighted GPAs, 4-point GPAs, 7-point GPAs, no GPAs whatsoever, etc. etc., colleges have to approach each case in a unique way.

As for chancing you, we need WAY more information. Check out some other chance threads to see what kind of information you should provide for a more accurate chance

Definately possible. I’d say low reach assuming really good ecs and essay

No idea what your ECs are, but if they include competition, leadership, and/or problem solving experience, you will most likely get in. With any Ivy though, chance may go against you. Good luck!
