I talked about how the experience changed me as a person and solidified my desire to want to help others. Short Essays (9/10) - For Academic Vitality, I talked about my childhood fascination with biology and my first microscope. My Roommate Essay was humorous and lively and it revealed my optimistic and lighthearted nature. For the What Matters to You Essay, I talked about how my name means “pure” in Sanskrit and how purity is a value my family and culture emphasize. I talked about wanting my future actions to be sincere and heartfelt, free of ulterior motives, and reflected on a childhood experience when I gave a homeless child in India some Oreos.

Strengths: Really good essays. I worked on them a lot and got help from my tutor, a retired admissions officer. High test scores, difficult courseload.
Weaknesses: Not as many awards and leadership positions as I would like. Two Bs second semester freshman year (Lit and Comp 10 and APUSH), one B second semester 10th grade (Pre-Calculus), one B second semester 11th grade (AP Calculus AB)
